Under the auspices of the talented people behind the excellent Forza Horizon 5, the Maverick Games studio has been launched with Mike Brown at the helm.
Maverick Games was launched with the help of the stellar veterans behind Forza Horizon 5 and other game developers. Under the leadership of the creative director of the fifth part of the Forza Horizon series, Mike Brown, they have already started their first major project, which is said to be an open-world video game.
In addition to Brown, the studio’s founders include several Playground game developers, as well as former Sumo Digital co-president Harinder Sangha and EA Experience Design Director Elly Marshall.
“Our goal is to make Maverick Games a studio that people love.” Mike Brown said for PCGamer in his interview. – “We are already preparing an interesting and high-quality title for gamers, building a home for developers, where the main thing for them is to take risks, to be curious, to be creative, to be innovative, themselves.”
