Four Letters Of Love is an adaptation of the book of the same name, and Niall Williams’ novel published in 1997 became a bestseller, so it was expected that one day it would be made into a movie. The protagonists of the story are Nicholas and Isabel, two young men with tragic destinies that heaven is destined for each other, but it takes time for them to realize that in order to be happy, they must listen to their hearts.
Brosnan plays Nicholas’ father William, who leaves his family to become a painter. Finally, the man set his house on fire along with his paintings. As a result of the tragedy, Nicholas decides to search for his father’s surviving photos, and life brings him and Isabel together.
The film also stars Helena Bonham Carter, and young actors are played by Fionn O’Shea and Ann Skelly.
