Huawei will announce the P60 series on March 23, and its members can be heard more and more. New images have now surfaced, said to be from official store promotional materials.
Previously, there were many versions regarding the design of the back of the Huawei P60 mobile phones, but now it is almost certain that the cameras will have the following design.
There will be a large rectangular camera island in the upper left corner, and instead of the previous double circle solution, this time we get a single large circle that hides the main sensor. There’s a good chance you can see the ultra-wide-angle unit above it, and periscope telephoto optics can be placed below.
The cameras will have the XMAGE brand, Huawei’s proprietary proprietary solution, with which it’s trying to replace the Leica collaboration, which had the same marketing value in the first place.
In addition to the Huawei P60 and P60 Pro, we’re expecting a third model, which is likely to be the most advanced of the three, but it could be a more limited edition with limited availability. It used to be Pro+, but now there are reports that it will be called P60 Art or P60 Ultra.
As for the front panel, the wide capsule-shaped opening may be the most defining feature, which could make the new Huawei products similar to the iPhone 14 Pro models. The graphic below reveals more details, though we don’t know exactly which version it shows:
We’ve already written about the expected features of the phones several times, but the focus is mostly on the cameras, brutal night shots are said to be possible, and the optical zoom will be very advanced. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 can take care of the drive, but unfortunately without the 5G modem.
