PS Plus Premium: May classic games come with a pleasant surprise!

It appears that new classic games coming to PS Plus Premium in May 2023 will support rewards at launch.

Classic games up to PS Plus Premium in May 2023 will start supporting the Trophy. Titles like Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light and Pursuit Force will have this feature on day one. Premium users get extra benefits compared to other tiers. Because they can access select PS1, PS2 and PSP games at no additional cost.

Many of these titles support trophies, allowing users to earn trophies for completing various tasks in the game.

New games added to PS Plus Premium in March 2023 came with trophy support. Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Ape Academy 2 both introduced this feature at launch.

As reported by Push Square, Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light and Pursuit Force awards have appeared on Exophase. And hours before its launch on PS Plus Premium. In Pursuit Force, fans can earn up to 31 trophies. Players can unlock 28 trophies in Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light. This issue also includes the much coveted Platinum Cup. This can be obtained by players who also have all other trophies in these games.

It should be noted that PS Plus Premium users will also be able to play Siphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow as a classic game in May 2023, but the prize list for it has not been released at the time of writing.

At the same time, other games in the Siphon Filter series also came with trophy support. So it is likely that Logan’s Shadow will also be released with this feature.

Many games already support this feature at launch. However, Sony could add trophies to titles already on the service. For example, earlier this year Sony updated Super Stardust Portable with trophy support. Although the game will be released on Premium in June 2022.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will get a handful of new games this month as Sony updates the catalog on May 16th.

PS Plus Extra subscribers can play Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, The Evil Within 2, Thymesia, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Watch Dogs: Legion, and more for free. Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered has also become part of the Classics catalog.
