Since Microsoft no longer provides official support, maintaining Firefox on older operating systems has become a very expensive task for Mozilla, and it is also dangerous for users.
explained the on their website, adding that Mozilla will provide important security updates through the Firefox ESR channel through the end of the ESR 115 release in September 2024; Next, Mozilla does not provide security updates for the browser, so they highly recommend upgrading to one of the newer versions of Windows.
If you want to keep Firefox updated with the latest features and updates, you will need to be running at least Windows 10, but Microsoft will soon be phasing out this system, so the best solution is to upgrade to Windows 11.
