Overwatch 2 adds a lot of new events to the festivities scheduled each year. These items include Pride from June 1st: when the Midtown course is covered in rainbow flags, a photo with Tracer and her partner will be added to Gibraltar, and cosmetic items that symbolize LGBTQ+ symbols will appear in the game. The short story Pride Event Announcement, “As you are” She also revealed that Fara is a lesbian and that Baptiste may be attracted to men as well. The story instantly turned Overwatch’s fan favorite pairing, Pharmercy, into extremes.
Although the developers didn’t talk about Pharah and Mercy’s relationship, they did say that as Overwatch’s story progresses, they’ll delve into the characters’ lives, for which many will be grateful.
