Nearly two thousand birds arrive at the Wild Bird Hospital in Sukoro each year. Among the wounded birds we can find storks, electric birds, as well as chicks that have fallen from the nest. It costs a significant amount of money to save birds, and the Wild Bird Hospital is trying to fund that through their foundation.
– We got in touch with Tamas Berkényi because our pet rabbit was sick at home, and after seeing the sacrificial and selfless work he does for the animals, I decided to try to help him – I remembered the history of the charity cookie fair, Zsolt Nagy, of Kis gémants, which mainly helps Children with ill fate President of the Children’s Support Association.
The idea was followed, and Zsolts organized the exhibition in Mentavill, or more precisely the fundraiser, where just over HUF 130,000 was raised in less than an hour and a half. Zsolt Nagy and his wife made this donation to Tamás Berkényi Sukorón over the weekend. Zsolt emphasized that Vadmadárkórház’s work is not just about healing. They also play an important role in education and research. Here, people have the opportunity to get information about wild birds, their lifestyle, and endangered species. During organized visits to the hospital, visitors can learn about the world of birds and understand the importance of preserving nature and respecting living creatures. Wild Bird Hospital is a place where miracles happen. Where hope and healing are felt in the flap of wings. This place gives injured birds a chance to fly freely again, live in the wild, and be a part of nature’s wonders.
