Here’s how you can try it out

To try out the new feature, simply open the Google Maps app on your phone — it’s important to note that the global view is only available within the app, so there’s no need to try using a browser. Find a friendly city or, for the sake of objectivity, a Budapest landmark.

After all this, by scrolling down on the information card, the interface called Immersive View should appear, in which a 3D copy of the selected landmark will open almost instantly. Interestingly, Google has also thought of filling the function with a bit of life, so that we can, for example, see the lighting conditions corresponding to the current time of day – but weather conditions are also taken into account by the app.

Google has made the innovation available to both Android and iOS users, so if you can’t find it yet, open the Play Store for the former, the App Store for the latter, and update the app.
