Honor 90 Lite arrived with a 100 MP camera

In May, the Honor 90 series debuted, which was first released in China, but the two new devices will soon be available in global markets as well. The phones will be released outside China on July 6, but before that a third model, Honor 90 Lite, will please European customers, who can already get hold of the mid-range novelty in some countries.

The Honor 90 Lite comes with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, which is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This is double the memory offered by the previous Honor 70 Lite model – we refer to it because the Honor 80 series never received a Lite version, and instead an SE version appeared. The operating memory can be extended with virtual memory as needed, at the expense of an additional 5 GB of backup memory, for a total of 13 GB available.

The screen is also better than before, and its size and resolution are larger, so instead of a 6.5-inch HD + screen, we get a 6.7-inch Full HD + screen, which is also 90 Hz instead of 60 previously. In the upper part of the screen, aligned in the middle, we find a hole in which the front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels is installed.

Staying with the cameras, the primary unit on the back is a 100MP design, which is tucked behind an f/1.9 aperture lens instead. Obviously, this is far from being as impressive as the Honor 90’s 200 MP main photo recorder, but it still offers twice the resolution compared to the solution introduced on the Honor 70 Lite. The camera set also includes a 5MP ultra wide angle module. Motion pictures with the device can be recorded in maximum Full HD resolution.

The Honor 90 Lite is powered by a 4,500mAh battery, which is compatible with 35W Honor SuperCharge. With the appropriate adapter, a fully discharged device can be charged to 55 percent in just half an hour. The smartphone has a cross section of 7.48 mm and a weight of 179 grams.

Security of personal data is ensured by a fingerprint reader mounted on the side bezel, and lost power can be recovered via the USB-C port. In addition, it is also worth noting the Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications that the smartphone proudly possesses.

The Honor 90 Lite in blue, silver and black sells in Europe for €300 (about HUF 112,000), but those who pounce on the device in the nick of time will get free Earbuds X5 wireless earbuds in some regions along with additional discount coupons.
