Series creator Mike White has revealed that a White Lotus prequel series may be filmed in Australia.
The first season of the popular HBO series premiered in Hawaii, the second in Sicily, and the third season is currently being produced in Thailand. White, along with series star Jennifer Coolidge, attended a festival in Sydney, where he also spoke about a possible introduction to White Lotus.
“I dream of reaching every continent. We’ll have to come to Australia somehow if we keep going. Australia fits the picture in every way. There’s a lot of great talent working here, and the location is undeniably beautiful.” Delivery time.
White revealed that a potential prequel series would focus on Coolidge’s character, Tanya McQuaid. According to him, it would be very interesting to see the actor twenty years younger.
In response to a question, Coleridge confirmed that although his character will not appear again in the third season, he is also voting for filming in Australia and is not opposed to making a prequel series. Ten Emmy Award-winning star Fehér Lótusz also won a Golden Globe this year for his performance in the series.
