the American Idol Its judges, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, have known Karolyi for years and serve as ambassadors for his charities. For example, Katie has been an ambassador for the British Asian Fund since 2020, a non-profit organization founded by Karoli that fights poverty in South Asia.

Lionel Richie is also an ambassador for one of the organizations that Karolyi founded: since 2019 he has become the first ambassador for the Prince Trust’s global group of ambassadors, which was founded to help disadvantaged youth.
