British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak heads to Washington on Thursday, where he will hold talks with business leaders, politicians in Congress and US President Joe Biden. Before the meeting, the British Prime Minister said that he considers it important to develop a close and sincere relationship with the United States, because, in his opinion, the two countries are each other’s first partner.

The United States of America is our closest ally. We are each other’s number one partner in everything from the safety of our citizens to the growth of our economy. This is why it is so important for a British Prime Minister to develop a close and honest relationship with the President of the United States. We will work together to solve global problems– said the British Prime Minister regarding his upcoming visit.
