The Economic Research Foundation also examined the results in terms of GDP. The analysis took into account 2020 data, according to which Iceland had the highest spending on education at 7.7%.

The most modest indicators are Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania and Ireland, in these countries the indicator is less than 4.5 percent.
