Leányvár judokas celebrated 33 years

The jugglers of Leányvár SE have been very successful in international competitions over the past 33 years, and members of the department present their winning cups and mosaics in a beautiful exhibition staged at the local János Farkas Cultural Centre. This event gave interested parties the opportunity to learn about the club’s history and achievements, as well as admire the many recognitions that judokas have gained over the years. These results also prove the talent, commitment and hard work of the association members.

Cups and mosaics have been won by Leányvár’s competitors in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, United States, United Kingdom (Northern Ireland), Croatia, Canada, Poland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia.

The award ceremony was an excellent opportunity for the members and supporters of the Leányvári Judo Association to celebrate the association’s achievements and successes to date, as well as to thank everyone who has contributed to this long and successful journey.

The ceremony was attended by Ksaba Vary, Mayor of Lenivar, Bernadette Kosztkany Rukulia, Mayor of Belischev, Marta Marian Balaz, Clerk of Belischev-Linifar, Zuzsa Nagli Engler, Principal of Erdli Jenny Borica Elementary School. And local government representatives, d. Bognar Veronica Solimoscovy, President of Leányvári SE, Krisztina Valuska, Secretary of the Association, Supporter János Tóth, Antalny Pfluger and Antal Pfluger, who have been organizing the life of the section and training the competitors for 33 years, i.e. since the very beginning.

The Leányvári SE Award recipients are Nora Heartlake, Monica Legini, Tandy Alexa, Tandy Rebecca, Kinga Ferris, Nicolette Ferris, Dr. Daniel Vadas, Norbert Farago, Matei Hertlik, Peter Hertlik, Zzilard Ulah, Šaba Zlovac, Mihaly Zlovac, Attila Ferris and Tofel Viser became competitors, as well as coach Istvan Hertlik.

Leányvári SE would also like to thank the municipalities of Kesztölc, Leányvár and Piliscsév for their support, as well as the Hungarian Judo Association.
