Goodlock LockStar has undergone an important update.

Samsung’s OneUI operating system includes customization options by default, but those who want to maximize their freedom use the factory-developed Good Lock application, which includes 20 so-called “modules”, it allows to adjust the user interface according to individual taste.

And now Good Lock LockStar, the lock screen and Always On Display (AOD) app, has undergone a major update, finally supporting third-party widgets.

In version 5.0.0.24 of the application, we can now register information interfaces related to third-party developer applications on the lock screen and AOD, on both mobile phones and tablets. Setting options include variable scaling and transparency, and in addition to third-party widgets, Samsung’s own widgets are also supported. However, the manufacturer warns in the description accompanying the update that due to the risk of burn-in, the system disables widgets on Galaxy models with OLED screens if you use a wallpaper-based clock or if you set custom clock widgets using the ClockFace program.
