Try Stronghold: Definitive Edition!

the Firefly Studios He’ll be returning to the roots of his biggest hits this fall, as they’ll set up Stronghold: Definitive EditionR. This will be a completely revamped version of the first episode of the castle-building RTS series, originally published in 2001, but true to the original concept in all its elements. The graphics are of course somewhat nicer, but they keep the old style and solutions.

The developers have targeted a November premiere, but fans don’t have to wait until then to try out the new game. The demo is already available on Steam. In this, everyone can see for themselves how refreshing the game is.

In addition to the demo, the studio also produced a short six-minute video, in which they tell in detail what is being revamped. Essentially, every model and graphic element is recreated, including units, buildings, resources, and environmental elements. For authenticity, the same source material is used now as it was more than two decades ago.

Stronghold: Definitive Edition will be released on November 7 for PC. However, the demo that just arrived won’t be available for that long, as it will go away on August 29th from Steam.
