An experienced Apple analyst has collected every guess about upcoming Apple phones.
If Apple keeps up its good habits, we’ll see iPhone 15 models sometime around September, which means we’re just weeks away from the show. A Bloomberg journalist with expertise in Apple affairs, Mark Gorman summed it up recentlyWhat we can expect from the new product line:
- All iPhone 15 models get the Dynamic Island — all kinds of notifications can be displayed on the sensor island that hides the front camera and Face ID. Until now, it was only available on iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max:
- The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will receive the Apple A16 Bionic chip used in the iPhone 14 Pro series, and the new Pro models will be turbocharged with the A17, which will be much faster than its predecessor.
- Apple – succumbing to pressure from the European Union – will get rid of the Lightning connector, and instead we will meet the USB-C port, which provides faster data transfer speeds for those who sync their things using a data cable.
- The Pro models get a new design with slightly curved edges and a thinner bezel around the screen (down from 2.2mm to 1.5mm), while the stainless steel frame has been replaced with a stronger and lighter titanium one that will collect fewer fingerprints.
- They would announce it on September 12th or 13th, and were set to begin distribution in stores on September 22nd.
- In the case of recommended consumer prices, an increase of up to $200 (~ 70 thousand HUF) can be expected – for comparison: iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max start at $999/$1099.
