It folds down on the table and has a ten-finger multi-touch touchpad.
Dell has expanded its range with a specially designed display. Recommended for home and business use, the Hub USB-C 24 Touch Display can also be used as a tablet if needed.
The screen has a 23.8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and the panel with a 60Hz refresh rate offers ten-finger multi-touch when using Windows and macOS, and three-finger multi-touch on Linux. According to the manufacturer, it can display 99% of the sRGB color spectrum, its color accuracy is good for everyday use.
The product has no shortage of ports and, to the delight of some business users, it has an Ethernet port, and classic video signals are received via the HDMI and DisplayPort inputs. For touch functionality to work, it must be connected to computers via a USB-C port, but it also offers USB hub functionality through connectivity, with three USB-A ports and one USB-C port available. With the latter, it can deliver up to 90 watts of power, which is useful when charging laptops. The 3W mono amplifier doesn’t sound impressive, but at least you can connect headphones or speakers via the audio jack.
The Dell 24 Touch USB-C Hub Monitor has already begun to be distributed in the USA, and customers can purchase it for $519, which is equivalent to CHF 183,000.
