Szentes will be completely renewed, in the new OB1 season they are in 10th place, that is, their goal is to definitely stay in the league. The new testimonies were presented at a press conference on Thursday.
The club’s management, as well as the team still managed by Peter Comlossi, want to avoid recent excitement over staying at the club. Professional manager Gabor Kiss said at the press conference that they consider the championship to be one of their priorities, that the Hungarian Cup qualification tournament at the weekend will also be devoted to preparation, and their goal is to get at least 10th place in OB1.
Five people joined the team, almost all of them well-known names: Ákos Vékony from Szeged, Márton Magyar from Eger, Kristóf Szatmári from Kaposvár, Tamás Csorba from Pécs, Dmitro Aszanyin from Invictus. Two players (Martun Śelko and Norbert Mateuk) retired, and six players were introduced: Gergely Cardos, Bence Hegedos, Bence Volop, Tapaszto Szelvius, Uros Fasix and Ivan Gusarov. Three youths were promoted from the youth team to the seniors: Benedek Pászti, Robert Makán and Bence Tóth.
The new team has been working together for a month and a half.
