For the past half century, two brands have struggled to favor little boys: Matchbox and Hot Wheels. Everyone had their favorites, but they most likely got some little cars from both brands and they probably didn’t really realize the difference between them at the time.
Well now Hot Wheels can bring back the childhood of many, like Hot wheels unleashed, A petrol-powered car game – with pickups in the lead, of course. Based on the first preview, it promises to be clearly comfortable, although it hasn’t offered a distinct gameplay yet. On the other hand, it really comes down to the fact that we can prepare for fast and exciting races on Hot Wheels tracks built from distinct orange elements. Based on the trailer, we’ll also likely get a track editor.
The development is being carried out by the Milestone team known for their motorcycle games. In the game, of course, we will be able to compete with small plastic toy cars, which will include real rarities with unique features. Of course, the possibility of customization is not excluded either, we will be able to paint our cars in different colors.
Hot Wheels Unleashed is scheduled to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, as well as Nintendo Switch on September 30th. ■
