They systematically hounded festival-goers

Wherever people passed the exits, terrorists were waiting for them, and began to systematically pursue them.
The bloodshed was put to an end with the arrival of the Israeli army, which began combing the area. According to information received on Sunday, 260 bodies were found at the festival site, but this number may rise after a complete search of the area. According to local press reports, Hamas militants likely took hostage among festival-goers, and then dragged them into the Gaza Strip.
