Indonesia will co-host the 2034 World Cup with Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.

Eric Tohir, President of the Indonesian Federation, confirmed on Wednesday that they are holding talks with Australia.

“When I visited Malaysia and Singapore, both countries indicated that they would join the Indonesia-Australia arrangement.” -PSSI head added. – “Last year, the World Cup was held in Qatar, and Japan and the Republic of Korea were already hosts, and I am sure the International Federation will try new countries. We have a better chance with a team of four.” – Tell.

In its reaction, the Australian Federation referred only to its announcement last week, under which it is investigating the possibilities of holding the 2029 Club World Cup and/or the 2034 World Cup.

Countries belonging to the Asian and Oceania Confederations can apply for the World Cup scheduled after 11 years, as in 2026 the United States, Canada and Mexico, that is, the North and Central American region, will host World Football, while the 2030 Army Review will host Spain and Portugal. Morocco is a match for Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay, so there will be meetings on three continents.

On Monday, Saudi Arabia officially announced its intention to host the 2034 FIFA Championship, which is awaiting requests from interested parties until next October 31. The final application must be submitted next July.
