Over the weekend, two prominent US ministers — Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin — also visited Israel, telling the public and international actors that the Biden administration stands with the Jewish state.
However, according to Ynet, Austin requested guarantees that Israel would not launch a pre-emptive strike against the Lebanese Hezbollah militia.
