The World Superbike Championship rights holder on Thursday announced the series’ competition calendar for next year, which includes the Balaton Park circuit in Balatonvukayar from August 23-25.
According to the announcement on the official World Cup website, the race in Hungary will be the eighth round of the season and consists of 12 races, but in order to actually organize the event, the track still has to pass the usual inspection, i.e. homogeneity.
According to the plans, in the next season of the Superbike World Cup, the track will also be introduced in Cremona in northern Italy, and in addition to the asphalt strip in Balatonfkajar, it will be the other new location.
The season begins at the end of February in Australia, which will be the only overseas location on the calendar, while the other races will be held in Europe.
