Samsung will soon provide the latest user interface developed for Android 14, called One UI 6.0. The interface will provide a lot of useful options for owners of Galaxy mobile phones and tablets, and one of them will be a very large cloud storage space that can be used in case of need.
Among other things, One UI 6 brings a new font, a clock that can be placed on the lock screen, a revised quick panel, but as it turns out, we can access 100 GB of free storage space on all devices that are compatible with the system. The function that uses cloud storage is called Temporary Cloud Backup.
From this it can be guessed that it will only be used to make safety-free products. However, it is a big help, because it is not necessary to buy more storage space on Google Drive or Dropbox if we transfer our data to another device or send it for repair.
Data is stored on Samsung servers only for 30 days from the time it was uploaded, but at the same time, the function saves data of all applications, not just factory ones, which means that the backup will be complete in all respects. . Apple also provides a similar option if we exceed the iCloud limit we subscribed to when creating a backup, don’t worry, the data will still be saved.
Unfortunately, at the moment, the new cloud backup will only be available on the South Korean Galaxy S, Galaxy Z Fold and Flip series mobile phones, if they are able to run One UI 6.0. It is not yet known when this option will be offered in other regions, but there is a good chance that it will arrive with the stable release.
