The 35-year-old talent show finalist has died

Australian singer and actor Johnny Ruffo has tragically passed away at the age of 35.

The world learned about the name Johnny Ruffo on Season 3 of X-Factor. The young talent walked all the way to the final. She later won the twelfth season of Australian Dancing with the Stars and starred in the television series Home and Away for three years.

In 2017, Johnny underwent surgery to remove a tumor from his brain, but a week later he discovered that he had a brain tumor that had spread throughout his body.

The young talent lost his long battle with cancer on November 10.

“It is with a heavy heart that we had to say goodbye to our beloved Johnny today. His partner Tahnee and his family were with him all the way until his final moments.”

The actor’s family announced in a statement.
