Based on Google searches, a list of popular cities that most people will move to tomorrow has been compiled.
According to some statistics, in 2020, 281 million people in the world lived in a country other than the place where they were born. This number may be much higher today, as the number of digital nomads has increased rapidly in the post-pandemic period.
But where do people prefer to move most? Tokyo is the most popular destination among digital nomads, and financial service provider Remitly looked around to see how it stands with other sought-after cities in the world.
Google searches were used to compile the top list. They examined the cities most searched for by Internet users using the keyword “transport.” The result is somewhat surprising. Dubai, which is famous for its ultra-modern buildings, incredibly high hours of sunshine and luxurious lifestyle, came out on top.
In second place comes beloved Miami, with its lively nightlife and stunning beaches. Paris can stand on the third step of the podium, due to its cultural and gastronomic life.
