Xiaomi has come up with another entry-level smartphone, the Redmi 13C. The device is already available in Nigeria, but it is expected to soon be available in other markets. The new product is similar to the Poco C65 phone that debuted recently, but there are differences between the two phones.
The phone will not only be available in the African country, but it also recently appeared on the American Amazon website, and we believe that it will also perform well in other regions. The novelty is very similar to the previously mentioned Poco C65, but there are differences. Inside the Redmi 13C is a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, with 4, 6 or even 8GB of RAM depending on the package chosen. As for storage, there are two options available, 128 or 256 GB.
The device’s screen size is 6.74 inches, based on IPS LCD technology, with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The Redmi 13C has a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, and the f/1.8 aperture module is complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Under the cover of the smartphone there is a 5000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. If the device follows the Poco C65 on which it is based, it will have a 10W charger in the box.
The Redmi 13C is available in Nigeria in black and green, and the cheapest configuration with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs 43,000 HUF in local currency. The better equipped version comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and this version costs the equivalent of 47,000 Nigerian dollars. How much the device will cost in other markets is a great question at the moment.
