Eight primary schools participated in the fourth. Regional finals for the Student Futsal Olympiad for age groups. Tarczy’s team won the competition in a great battle, so András Horváth’s team will represent the region in the final in Veszprém.
The organizers formed two groups of four, with the top two places each qualifying for the semi-finals. In one of the branches, Tarczy defeated Pápakovács 4-0 to prepare for the final. His opponent was Türr who defeated Refit 2-0. In the final, Tarkazi took first place with two beautiful shots, while Rifi was victorious in the bronze medal match.
– We advanced from the group with two wins and one loss. We defeated Ujris 2-0, and Babatiszert 6-1, but we lost to Rivi 3-1. The slap came at the right time – said Andras Levente Horvath, he is a physical education teacher at Lagos Tarcze Primary School. . – After the defeat, we had to put our heads together, and in the continuation we beat the surprise of the tournament, Babakovac, 4-0, and in the final we scored some beautiful goals, after 2-0 I drew attention to the defence. Our PELC players have been the driving force, but everyone deserves credit. I can’t say anything about continuing, I don’t know the stadium, but the goal is one of the first two places to advance.
