Their new scientific and religious work helps the university to engage in the circulation of domestic and international scientific-theological life.
According to tradition, the new doctors at the Reformed Religious University in Debrecen were inaugurated at the Hungarian Science Festival.
One of them, Marta Lucci, said: It has been a long way to get her PhD and she will have fewer tasks in the future, which she is happy to do.
– Through teaching, we can convey to students the knowledge that we gain through our own study, that they can love theology, as well as see the profession of a minister as a life path worth embarking on and even continue an academic life and point out the activity alongside it.
The tradition of awarding doctorates at the Reformed University of Debrecen for Religious Studies dates back to 1917. At Friday’s ceremony, three people were awarded doctorates in theology.
The President of the University said in his celebratory speech: From era to era, doctoral students help the university to join the movement of domestic and international theological scientific life.
– The text of the doctoral pledge stated that their scientific work will be presented for the benefit of our people and our church. “This is what I wish for them, so that they are as successful as possible in their commitment,” added Bela Levente Barath.
On the occasion of the celebration, 4 qualification certificates were handed over.
