the Manchester city boss, Pep Guardiola This was announced in the press conference before the European Super Cup match against Sevilla, Kevin De Bruyne He suffered a serious injury and was forced to miss several months. The specialist explained that, in his opinion, UEFA and FIFA feel sad because they have to do without their best:
“It’s disgusting. He’s very important to us and I think he’ll have to have surgery so we’ll be missing him for several months. He’s a very special player with extraordinary talent, and his relationship with Erling Haaland on the pitch is important.” Quoted from Guardiola Marka. – In my first pre-season as a player, I had twenty-five days to prepare for the opening match of the season against Skonto Riga in order to reach the Champions League. Now they give me four or five days. They took me to Asia and the United States, where there were very tough matches, and people kept falling, just because the show must go on. If Courtois isn’t there, someone else will be, right? If Militao is not there, there will be someone else, and if Kevin is not there, there will be someone else. It’s a losing battle unless the players stand up for themselves and say ‘we’re not playing’. UEFA and FIFA are not doing anything.”
According to Guardiola, all managers are very frustrated by the intensity of the competition schedule. He stated that the situation is not helped by the fact that teams are playing an average of 110 minutes due to the new rules, which further complicates the situation. Amondo, footballers are treated like commodities and that will probably not change unless the players rebel, which he sees as little chance of happening.
