Two protesting citizens placed Soviet military uniforms in front of the VIP entrance reserved for members of Liszt Ferenc Airport on Tuesday, as an ironic gift to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who is leaving for a European Union summit. One civic activist, Zoltan Keresteny, explained their recent work as follows:
“(…) We gave Comrade Prime Minister Viktor Orbán a customized Soviet military uniform as a Christmas present, so that he could take it with him to Brussels and finally represent Putin’s interests at EU meetings in appropriate clothing.”
As it turned out, even the small details of the uniform were important:
“(…) We also made him two nameplates. One in Hungarian letters, so that when he travels around Europe, and the other in Cyrillic letters, so that when he returns home to Moscow, he really feels at home and can easily sell Hungarian and European interests.”Facebook job reporting function From his end, it turns out that the most politically active citizens in 2023 intended this to be a Christmas gift for Orban.
