The incident happened in February 2021. Rachel and Liam had been playing the same numbers for weeks and had drawn their numbers in a drawing held on February 26. The young couple couldn’t have been happier, and then came the cold shower.

When Rachel called the phone number on her lottery ticket, she discovered that she hadn’t actually won anything.

His numbers were correct, but he didn’t have enough money in his bank account to make that week’s lottery payment, so he didn’t enter the drawing.

Although Rachel was very disappointed and seemed to accept the bad news easily, Liam was devastated. The boy said he was already thinking about what kind of dream house he and his girlfriend could arrange for themselves, and what dream cars they could buy.

A spokesman for Camelot, which has been organizing the British lottery since 1994, said the company was very sorry about Rachel and Liam’s case, but wished them good luck in the upcoming draws.
