Hajdu Bihar District Municipality participated as a partner in the OUR WAY project (Preservation and Promotion of Natural and Cultural Heritage Using Green Roads), which is jointly financed by the Interreg Europe program and the Hungarian State (https://www.interregeurope.eu/ourway/). One of the components of the District Action Plan prepared under this plan is “Walking Hajdu Bihar!” program.

“Tour of Hajdu Bihar!” The program was announced by the Hajdu Bihar District Municipality at the end of 2022 in order to introduce the natural and cultural values of the district. Participants had to download the Green Passport for Hajdu Bihar from the district government website, and for the duration of the program they had to walk the district section of the Alfoldi Blue Tour. They had to prove this with Alfoldi Kektura stamps on the green passport, which they had to send to the provincial government by November 30, 2023.

Among those who presented a completed document with stamps were drawn a Decathlon purchase voucher worth 30,000 HUF, 20,000 HUF, and 10,000 HUF each from a large sporting goods store; The awards were presented in person on 13 December by Zoltan Bagna, Chairman of the District Council of Debrecen, at the District Hall.
