Demonstrations took place in Tel Aviv after the Israeli army admitted to killing three hostages by mistake

The Israeli army said on Saturday that it continued its strikes in the Gaza Strip, which is populated by Palestinians, and according to official Palestinian reports, a large number of deaths and injuries occurred in the recent attacks.

According to the Israeli army, an air strike was carried out on a building in Jabalia, located in the northern part of the area, from which they had previously opened fire on their soldiers, and Palestinian militants were also seen on the roofs.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the bodies of twenty Palestinians killed in the night air strikes, in addition to dozens of wounded, including women and children, were transferred to Han Gonesh Nasser Hospital in the southern part of the area.

According to medical officials, Israeli airstrikes also hit the headquarters of the YMCA in Gaza City, located in the northern part of the area, where hundreds of people who fled their homes were being sheltered.

On Saturday, an Israeli military official presented the preliminary results of the investigation into the mistaken shooting of hostages. Israeli soldiers shot three Israeli hostages who escaped captivity by the Palestinian Islamic organization Hamas the previous day in the Sajaa area in the northern Gaza Strip. According to the spokesman’s report, the soldiers made a mistake during the deployment because the hostages were carrying a white flag.

On the Israeli side, it was also reported on Saturday that according to official information, Hamas was kidnapped at the beginning of last October, and of the more than 130 hostages still being held in the Gaza Strip, about twenty died.
