David Sipos, a student of the educational institution who died on Monday, was commemorated early Tuesday evening in the concert hall of the Cultural Center in Szekelyudvárhelyi, in an unusual opening of an exhibition of works by students of the Imre Palo Arts High School. There was so little space, so much pain.
The day before, students of Imre Palló Art Lyceum in Székelyudvarhely were preparing for an orchestra, Christmas concerts and an exhibition, but by Tuesday evening, only one exhibition remained open from all points of the programme. Which was held, unusually, in painful silence in the concert hall of the Cultural Center.
This is where the opening of an exhibition of works by students of the educational institution was planned, and instead the commemorations came in long lines in silence, holding flowers in their hands, to bid farewell to David Sipos, a 12th grade student. of Technical High School who died in the Tamasi Aaron High School dorm collapse on Monday.
A mercy seat was set up on the right side of the concert hall, under the work of the deceased student with a mourning ribbon. There was not enough space for so many flowers and pain. As the concert hall proved cramped, so many people came to pay their respects.
“Now that we are here and can admire the best works of our art students, we feel the void in our souls caused by David’s passing. He will live on as a unique miracle,” said the only speaker, Zoltan Gergely Gabor, director of the School of Art, asking for a moment of silence in memory of the deceased student. It is recognizable in all of our hearts.” The head of the foundation then announced that there were no words to describe what had happened, so it was not necessary to speak.
The exhibition is open and can be viewed.
