Starting from March 1, Hungary border crossing rules have been tightened again. From now on, Hungarian and non-Hungarian citizens traveling for economic and commercial purposes will be subject to increasing controls. However, travel in and out of the European Union is subject to a separate treatment, he writes World economy.

According to Deloitte analysts, if someone from outside the European Union arrives for commercial purposes and can prove their credibility at the border by presenting a suitable document, they will be exempt from the quarantine obligation.

Relief is available for the following countries:

  • United States of America,
  • Azerbaijan,
  • the two seas,
  • The United Arab Emirates,
  • Republic of India,
  • Republic of Indonesia,
  • Israel ,
  • Japan,
  • Kazakhstan,
  • People’s republic of China,
  • Kyrgyzstan,
  • The Republic of Korea,
  • Russian Federation,
  • Singapore ,
  • republic of Turkey
  • Ukraine,
  • Uzbekistan.

If the entry of Hungarians and non-Hungarians from the above-mentioned countries is in doubt as to the validity of the work document, the authorities may refuse entry.

However, the decree does not contain detailed rules regarding the content and form of proof that the traveler must present.
