A video clip of an American woman in her twenties went viral on TikTok, in which she appears volunteering and singing to clean some supermarkets. The influencer, who goes by the name @Ugh_Madison on the popular video sharing platform, works 8-9-12 hour shifts in his free time. According to him, he loves cleaning and packing so much that it is not a burden for him, of course, the viewership is supposed to motivate him as well.
Madison posted the video that raised a lot of dust and described it as follows:
I worked for free at a completely random target. The bathroom was very dirty, but don't worry, I cleaned it. I also organized clothes, emptied the trash, and distributed sodas and gift cards to customers.
The enthusiastic TikToker, who did the same as a modern-day Cinderella at Walmart in December, also bagged products that customers returned to the wrong shelf. Meanwhile, the supermarket staff did not notice that he was not one of the employees. When he started sorting a cart full of goods, one of the workers went to help him.
Madison's actions divided netizens. According to many, you should not “volunteer” in a supermarket, but, for example, in a homeless shelter. Others found it strange that he did not wear rubber gloves when cleaning the bathroom.
