At the Hyvolution Professional Conference, the world's leading hydrogen technology forum, which concluded on February 1, the hydrogen associations of the respective countries – Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and Ukraine – formulated and said it was a joint effort to explore and benefit from synergies that could To accelerate and help the transition to hydrogen technologies, and thus also help achieve zero-emission economic goals.
The agreement signed Thursday sets out 3S's basic operating principles, and formulates specific goals and a timeline.
The Three Seas Hydrogen Council was established in May last year with the aim of supporting member states in the green transition, and exploring cooperation opportunities to develop a zero-CO2 economy, in which hydrogen will play an important role. According to their previous information, the organization can represent the sector before the European Commission and the European Parliament.
Istvan Lipsiny, President of the Hungarian Hydrogen Technology Association, emphasized in the statement that hydrogen associations in the region are taking joint steps to ensure a fair distribution of EU funds in Central and Eastern Europe. He expressed his hope that the agreement would support regional financing, enhance industrial cooperation and encourage joint projects aimed at developing competitive green technology in the participating countries.
The Three Seas Hydrogen Council is committed to creating a special discussion forum, the purpose of which is to study European legislation and national policies affecting the hydrogen sector – the announcement was conveyed by Veronika Voledkova, Board Member and Executive Director of the Czech Professional Association (HITEP).
