According to Christie's Auction House, the painting, which was painted by the Beatles during their Japanese tour in 1966, was sold for $1.74 million, or approximately 620 million Hungarian forints. Manichaeism A Japanese newspaper called

According to the auction house, the work, later titled Images of a Woman, which was sold at auction in New York on February 1, is the only known painting of the four members of the British band – John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and… Ringo Starr Together was made and signed.

The four musicians stayed in a suite at the old Tokyo Hilton hotel, where they were almost hidden from the huge crowds of fans between concerts. They spent the time drawing using traditional Japanese washi paper, watercolors and acrylic paint. Each member chose a corner of the paper, created it by moving towards the middle part, and finally signed their part.

“The Beatles stopped touring two months after their Tokyo concert, and the four of them never toured together again. Among other things, this makes the painting special, as they had no “A lot of opportunities like in Tokyo, where they were stuck in a hotel room with almost nothing to do.”
