The Canadian stars of the weekend are Gabriel Diallo of Montreal, Quebec and Vasek Pospisil of Vernon, British Columbia. In the singles competition on Friday, Diallo defeated Son Woo Kwon 6-4, 6-4, and Pospisil defeated Seung Chan Hong 6-4, 6-3.
