The independent Hungarian Audi Workers Union told the Index that the second round of wage negotiations with employer representatives took place on Monday. As written: No new offer from either party, both parties argued in favor of the original offers.
As we reported, the union came out in the first round of negotiations with the following demands:
- 12-month salary agreement,
- Basic salary increase 12%
- Reward loyalty while maintaining current conditions,
- Anniversary bonus while maintaining current conditions,
- 550,000 HUF for the year 2025.
- And 500,000 Hungarian forints in one payment “holiday allowance” With May salary.
In return, the employer representatives offer:
- Two-year contract,
- Uniform wage increase
- A one-time payment, totaling 350,000 HUF including June's salary,
- 500,000 forints as a framework amount for foreign allowance.
In the second union negotiations on Monday, representatives of employers and unions reviewed all the possibilities and wage elements that could play a role in resolving the negotiations.
The two parties agreed that they would then sit down for another consultation on February 26, 2024.
