Researchers' Night is a series of free events held across Europe
Through entertaining and inspiring presentations, experiments, lab visits and other fun programs, all ages can learn about the many new findings of scientific research. The most important goal of this event, initiated by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Initiative of the European Union Commission, is to make the diverse work of researchers and developers attractive to young people – both boys and girls.
All areas of science are represented with interesting programs at this event. As for the types of programs, there will be lectures, workshops, discussions, exhibitions, guided tours, experiments, laboratory visits, presentations, competitions, films, creative sessions and much more, the website reads. All programs are free to attend. However, pre-registration is required for some programmes, e.g. Due to the limited capacity of the laboratory or room.
Researchers' Night is organized again this year by the RCISD Regional Knowledge Center and the FAWORIT consortium organized around it, which has received the support of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie (MSCA) Program of the European Union (EU) for the tenth time. Members of the organizing consortium are the Regional Knowledge Center RCISD, the Association for Women in Science, the Hétfa Research Institute, the Society for the Dissemination of Knowledge TIT, and the University of Šbuda.
