February 26 (UPI) — Netflix announced Monday that it has acquired the comedy series Tires By Shane Gillies. The series represents a partnership with the streaming service that includes an upcoming special.
Gillis will play Shane, a man who goes to work for his cousin, Will's (Steven Gerben) auto repair company. Netflix has ordered six episodes of the series Tires.

Gillis and Gerben co-created Tires With McKeever, with whom Gillis runs Dad Sick Productions. McIver directs, writes and executive produces all three.
Chris O'Connor, Kaylah Fox and Stavros Halkias also star. Andrew Schultz will appear as a guest.
Netflix has streamed Gillis' 2023 special Beautiful dogs. Gillis will perform live at the Netflix Comedy Festival on May 4-8 in Los Angeles.
Host Gillis on Saturday Saturday Night Liveyears after he was fired before appearing in the cast shortly after being hired by the show.
