Another 30 billion forints of previously blocked EU funds have arrived in Hungary, Finance Minister Mihaly Varga announced on his social media page.
Mihaly Varga announced that this time EUR 75.2 million (29.8 billion HUF) pre-financing has been obtained for our investments aimed at green and digital transformation.
The Finance Minister added that these funds are used by the government under the Environment and Energy Efficiency Operational Program Plusz (KEHOP Plusz).
With today's transfer, the amount of funds withdrawn from the 2021-2027 Cohesion Framework has already risen to €1.22 billion. With this result, Hungary is ahead of the majority of member states in terms of withdrawal, and occupies eleventh place.

In the comment below the post, Mihaly Varga also recalled that since the end of December, our country has already received more than 550 billion forints from its previously blocked resources.

As previously reported: On Wednesday, Mihaly Varga also mentioned EU resources in presenting the OECD country study on Hungary. The Minister of Finance said: “520 billion have already been deposited in our account,” expressing his hope that the remaining amounts will be disbursed soon.
