Theatrical performances have been organized in Béquixaba since 1840. At first itinerant groups performed in village halls that were still suitable for this. The settlement has had a theater since 1879, built with public donations based on plans by architect Andor Halmay. The building has been redesigned several times over the past 145 years, and its last major renovation was completed in 1994. In our program, we will visit every corner of the theater with director Zoltan Szeregyi, and look at photographs of members of the celestial company, the dazzling Vegado Room, which is also A space for social gatherings, we will also hear the musical Munkácsy, a festfőfeidelem, a new production arranged by Békéscsaba Jókai Theater Gábor Koltay.
