More and more sources claim that Moscow is preparing a large-scale offensive operation against Ukraine, the goal of which is to bring a large region under its control. Kyiv decided to make major defense investments. They also shared a recent snapshot showing construction sites in Zaporizhya Province, where they are strengthening their positions with a system of trenches and fortifications. The video also shows that anti-tank barriers are also being installed near the sites.
It is worth noting that in the summer of 2023, the Ukrainians launched an attack on the Ukrainian territory occupied by the Russians, which was unsuccessful. The offensive teams remained stuck in the defensive lines with greater depth. At that time, the Russian system was built according to a similar logic to the system described in the recordings.
In the past, there were many fears that the Ukrainian lines were not strong enough and thus the Russians could occupy important areas with a large-scale operation.
Earlier, similar dilemmas arose in the city of Avcijivka. Russian forces occupied several communities there within days.
