The relationship between science and economics

The scholarships were awarded to representatives of higher education institutions for the eighth year. Regional Minister of Higher Education and Science Zoran Milošević handed over contracts to representatives of scientific and research institutes to finance development and research projects for vocational schools of higher education in Vojvodina, as well as to finance important short-term projects for the development of science and research.

Dr. Zoran Milosevic, Regional Secretary for Higher Education and Science:

Vocational training and higher education institutions are equally important. Both must be based on research practice, and in this way they can not only improve their curricula, but also contribute to the transformation of Vojvodina and Serbia.
Among the beneficiaries are colleges and universities of Vojvodina.

Dr. Igor Forstner, Director of the Technical College of Subotica:

Eight years ago, the province introduced this option so that universities of applied sciences could also apply for research and development projects, in order to teach at all in higher education.

Aneko Otase, University Teacher, Oyvedike Pre-School Vocational College:

We submitted our application with my colleagues Branka Janković and Silvija Gladić, and actually we combined three areas, my colleague deals with mathematics, the other deals with fine arts, and we, well, my subject is Vojvodina folklore, so we will combine these three areas in our project, and we also By involving students, so there will be a practical part of our research.
The competent governorate secretary emphasized that the relationship between science and the economy is essential for the development of society.
