TikTok is expanding its e-commerce business in Mexico and major Western European markets amid scrutiny in the United States and the European Union

TikTok did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Thursday.

TikTok has more than 15 million sellers worldwide as of December after adding more than 6 million in the second half of 2023, the company said in its first TikTok Store Health report last week.
