In one of our articles a few days ago, we briefly hinted that the attacker, Juraj Sintola, was previously linked to a pro-Russian Slovak paramilitary organisation.
The organization in question operates under the name Slovensky branci (in Hungarian: Slovak conscripts). The Slovenski Brance was widely recognized as a pro-Russian far-right paramilitary organization, and often spoke favorably of Putin's Russia while attacking the West, the European Union, immigrants, the press, and civil society organizations.

The poet from Leva also mentioned at that time what attracted him to this organization. He cites “the ability to act without state orders” as one reason, and “selfless zeal” as a second. He also wrote that “hundreds of thousands of immigrants” are coming to Europe and that this organization “patriotically” wants to protect Slovakia from their influence.
